Sweat Yeast Dumplings
Category: Dessert
Preparation:
- Pour the milk into a mixing bowl and dissolve the yeast in it.
- Add the remaining ingredients for the dough and knead everything to a smooth dough using a food processor with the dough hook. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles.
- Wash, drain, halve and pit the plums in the meantime.
- Knead the dough again on a floured surface after it rises. Then shape the dough into a roll and divide into 12 – 14 equal pieces. Put a plum onto each piece and shape into a ball so the plum is concealed.
- Melt 50 g butter in a casserole dish. Roll the dumplings in the butter on all sides and set them into the dish, not too close together. Put the dish on a rack in the combination steam oven.
- Set the combination steam oven to 180°C with the professional baking function and bake the dumplings for about 25-30 minutes.
Tip: The dumplings are especially delicious when served with vanilla sauce and poppy seeds.
