Chocolate Pear Cake

Preparation:

    1. Thoroughly wash the pears. Grease a springform pan (diameter 26 cm).

    2. Put all remaining ingredients into the mixing bowl of a food processor and mix into a smooth batter.

    3. Pour the batter into the baking pan and smooth it. Arrange the pears upright in a circle, pressing them slightly into the batter.

    4. Put the cake on a rack in the oven.

    5. Heat the oven at 160°C with the hot air function and bake the cake for about 60 minutes.

    1 kg pears

    150 g butter or margarine

    150 g sugar

    3 eggs

    300 g flour

    1 packet baking powder

    125 ml milk

    100 g couverture chocolate (cut into small pieces)

    1 tbsp. cocoa

    50 g rolled oats

    1 tbsp. rum
