Cupcakes for Christmas

Preparation:

  1. Line the muffin tin with paper liners.

  2. Preheat the oven with the hot air function at 200°C.

  3. Put all ingredients for the batter into a mixing bowl and mix with a hand mixer to a smooth batter. Pour the batter into the muffin tin. Put the muffin tin into the oven on a rack and bake for about 20 minutes.

  4. Remove when done and allow to cool. 

  5. For the topping, pour the cream in a mixing bowl and beat with a hand mixer until stiff. Carefully fold in the sour cream and vanilla sugar. Fill a pastry bag with the mixture and use it to decorate the cupcakes.

  6. Shortly before serving, mix cinnamon and sugar, and sprinkle this on the cream mixture.

     


Tip: For a Christmas cake, simply quadruple the recipe and bake it on a baking sheet. The baking time is about 20 minutes at 200°C using the hot air function.

100 g cream

100 g heavy sour cream

1 packet vanilla sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon

For decoration

Star-shaped cinnamon biscuits as desired
