Zucchini and meatball patty towers
Category : Main course
Preparation:
- Add the ingredients for the meatballs to a bowl and mix it with the dough hook of the electric mixer.
- Make about 12 small, flat meatballs from the mixture (about 5 cm in diameter) and put them side by side in a heat-resistant casserole dish on a rack in the oven.
- Heat the oven at 180 °C with the hot air function and bake the meatballs for about 20 minutes.
- Wash the zucchini, remove the ends and cut the rest into 12 slices of about 1 cm thick. Heat a pan on a medium hob setting. Pour the oil in the pan and brown the zucchini slices on both sides. Season with salt and pepper.
- Wash the tomatoes, remove the stalk base and slice.
- Place the zucchini and the meatball on top of each other to form the tower, add a little pesto on top and cover with the tomato slices. Season again with some salt and pepper. Stick some rosemary in the tomato as decoration.
