Smoked Salmon Dumplings

Preparation:

  1. Put the smoked salmon pieces and cream into a mixing bowl and purée until stiff using a stick hand blender.
  2. Carefully fold in the remaining ingredients for the dumplings.
  3. With two small spoons, form the mixture into dumplings and lay them on the non-perforated cooking tray of the steam oven.
  4. Place the tray in the steam oven and cook with the steam function at 100 °C for 10 – 12 minutes.
  5. In the meantime, put the ingredients for the sauce into a bowl. Mix everything well and season to taste.
  6. To serve, put some of the honey-dill sauce onto a plate and add the dumplings.

 

It goes very well with salad and some baguette.

Ingredients (for 1 baking sheet):

For the dumplings

150 g Smoked salmon, cut into small pieces

100 ml Cream

200 g Low fat curd cheese

2 Egg yolks

1/4 tsp Salt

1 pinch Pepper, ground

3 tbsp Dumpling powder (30 g)

2 tbsp Parsley, chopped

 

For the sauce

10 g Honey

1 bunch Dill

150 g Heavy sour cream

1/2 tsp Vinegar

2 tbsp Olive oil

1 pinch Salt

1 pinch Pepper, ground

 

As a side dish

It goes very well with salad and some baguette.
