Homemade Tagliatelle

Preparation:

  1. Put all ingredients into a mixing bowl and knead into a smooth dough. Place the dough into a sealed container or wrap it in cling film and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.

  2. Roll the dough out thin with a pasta maker (or rolling pin). Then cut into tagliatelle strips.

  3. Put a large pot with water onto the hob, add plenty of salt and bring to a boil over high heat. Add the tagliatelle, stir once and cook for about 2-3 minutes.

  4. When they are done, drain and serve.

 

Tip: Colorful noodles can be made by adding eg. tomato paste or pureed spinach.
