Ginger biscuits

Preparation:
- Finely chop the pickled ginger, place it in a mixing bowl together with the flour, sugar, ground almonds, egg and butter and knead into a dough with the dough hook of a food processor.
- Take out the dough and knead again with your hands on a worktop sprinkled with flour.
- Place the dough covered in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 180°C with the top/bottom heat function or to 160°C with the hot air function.
- Sprinkle the worktop with flour and roll out the cooled dough approx. 2 mm thick. Cut out the dough with biscuit cutters and place on the baking tray.
- Put the baking tray into the preheated oven and bake the biscuits in it for about 15 minutes.
- Then take them out and let them cool down.
Tip: After cooling down, the biscuits can be decorated as desired.

200 g soft butter
300 g flour
150 g sugar
100 g pickled ginger
50 g ground almonds
1 egg
